Sad, but the right decision... From "The REAL Feed": Bruschi won't play in '05 ESPN: NFL (20.07.2005 18:20) Patriots linebacker recovering by Associated PressBOSTON -- New England Patriots Tedy Bruschi will sit out this season because of a stroke he suffered 10 days after helping the Patriots win their third Super Bowl in four years. "Tedy ... has declared his intentions to forgo the 2005 campaign... This is probably the end of a career. A great one that Tedy can walk away from proudly. He's left absolutely NOTHING on the field... in the way of accomplishments... or otherwise. This is a hit to the value of the Patriots team defense, however, from a fantasy perspective, and obviously anyone who had him in a keeper IDP league took a SERIOUS hit. However, this is just the official notice; you had to know this was a forgone conclusion way back.
