To what degree has S. Jackson's value increased?

It is obvious that Steven Jackson's value has increased now that Marshall Faulk is officially the backup to the former Oregon State Beaver. The only question is how much Jackson's fantasy value will increase.
Jackson is not as talented a receiver as Faulk. Then again, there are few running backs in the history of the game with Faulk's receiving talents. The St. Louis Rams will still be a pass oriented offense. This may be accentuated if the Rams have to play from behind due to their porous defense giving up points by the bushel. In the three games that he started, Jackson had a total of six catches for 74 yards. These numbers are decent, but Jackson will make his presence felt in the ground attack.
Steven Jackson is a beast in the ground game. There is little doubt that Jackson can rack up the rushing yards, if given the chance. The last part is the key: if given the chance. The only downside to Jackson is the that he is not as well rounded as Faulk. At Oregon State, Jackson did not catch a lot of balls. This may not indicate that he cannot be a good receiver, only that he does not have a lot of experience catching the ball.
This said, Jackson will put up enough rushing yards and score enough touchdowns to be a top ten fantasy back and maybe even an elite back. This is just one man's opinion.
What are your thoughts?
Now, all I need to do is determine if Chad Johnson will be more valuable at wide receiver than Jackson will be at running back. Perhaps this is a topic for another thread.

I think this is a short-answer question, actually. They will teach Jackson how to be a better receiver. I think he will assimilate well. He seems like a fine athlete. He WILL be a monster in this system, even if not the monster Faulk was. Bottom line, Jackson will get his in this offense one way or another, and "his" will be VERY significant.

No, CONSOLIDATION is the key here on "the Gridiron", woodman. This question should surely be addressed right here. ... And, in response to your question, given what I have stated in brief above regarding Jackson, I would keep Jackson over Johnson based on 1) the potency of the Rams offense vis-a-vis Cincinnati's and 2) running back over receiver.
