Well, this is late in getting started.  This thread will be obsolete before long.  Anyway, oh well...  From "The REAL Feed"... another first-rounder signs:

Falcons sign top pick White
The Sports Network: NFL (31.07.2005 10:42)

This guy might just produce some decent fantasy numbers in short order.

How is he going to get fantasy numbers?  Are we hoping for some tackles on special teams?  Maybe he'll get a few end-around handoffs on offense?  I can't imagine anyone will be throwing him the ball, unless, of course, a certain QB gets hurt and Matt Schaub gets a chance.

Kind of worth reporting...  From "The REAL Feed":

Atlanta's Dez White injures knee against Jags
SI.com: NFL (26.08.2005 04:43)

Jenkins, given how he looked last night and in light of the team's dearth of depth at the position, might be set for big-time success in '05.

Peerless Price is cut.  After all that money and the first-round draft pick they gave up to get him...

Interesting goings-on at WR in Atlanta.  I guess Michael Jenkins is the #1 by default and Brian Finneran is #2 with rookie Roddy White #3.  Who is #4?  Dez White?  Does it even matter with a QB who can't throw the ball with any consistency?
