Must Have

1. Larry Johnson  ***obviously***

2. LaBrandon Toefield  ***you just have to back up ole Fragile Fred***

3. Chester Taylor  ***Just have a feeling about this one***

4. Tatum Bell *** He's actually better than Anderson***

5. Ricky Williams ***I like Ronnie Brown...but hey this is Little Earl!! (or was)***

Agree?????? or   Disagree??????

Nice job, MC! Great thread idea!

Here's how I'd differ, though:

1) AGREED

1a) Cedric Benson

2) Tatum Bell (he'll be the starter sooner than later)

3) Reuben Droughns (maybe you're not thinking of him as a backup)

4) Travis Henry (how can this guy be a backup, right?)

5) Stephen Davis

6) Ricky Williams

7) Frank Gore (will be the starter before long)

8) T. J. Duckett (even taking into account Vick's contributions, part of the #1 rushing offense; he scored 8 times last year)

9) Marcel Shipp (still a little doubtful about Arrington)

10) Ciatrick Fason (he may be the most durable of the top three)

Don't buy into the Toefield/Taylor hype.  They are great handcuffs to Taylor/Lewis, respectively, but that's it (at least at this point in their respective careers).  They need an injury to the top guy.  The top 7 of my top 10 could win the starting jobs outright without the assistance of an injury to the top dog.

I think Larry Johnson is the most important handcuff.

I'm not sure about Toefield.  I think if Fred goes down, it'll be more of a RBBC with Toefield, Jones, and Pearman.

What about DeShaun Foster (for Stephen Davis)?  And then Nick Goings for Foster?

As per my post above, I thought it was the other way around... or upside-down...

I guess we'll all know soon...
