I had Walker as my #1, am now thin at WR. Roster QB - Hass, Warner WR - SSmith, Booker, Mi.Clayton, Moulds, Re.Brown TE - Heap RB - Priest, LJ, Rudi, Ro.Brown, CBrown I'm thinking of offering CBrown to the guy who has Henry, in exchange for Wayne or RoWilliams. Here's his roster. QB - Manning, Vick WR - Burress, Wayne, Fitz, RoWilliams, Gardner, MRobinson RB - Portis, JJones, Bennett, Henry TE - Wiggins He needs RB help, and Brown compliments Henry (could be a bad thing in this case I guess). What do you think?

You would really be building his team,... perhaps making him into a champion. I personally think Brown has more value than Williams or Wayne. I would do Brown for Williams or Wayne AND Burress, and perhaps you could throw Reggie Brown back to him to get the deal done, especially if it's no sweat off your back since I'm guessing you'd have to cut someone, anyway, based on the uneven deal. Happy trails!

yeah, I am strengthening him significantly aren't I. as for your Brown value quip, here's his remaining schedule: BAL - not a good day @ STL - they'll get behind and have to throw IND - see STL game @ HOU - tough run D CIN - tough D @ ARI - med. run D, could be a decent day OAK - very nice matchup @ CLE - another nice matchup bye JAC - tough day SFO - decent matchup @ IND - terrible day HOU - same as last time SEA - decent day @ MIA - mediocre matchup @ JAC - tough day again I only count 2 very nice weeks, 4 mediocre/decent weeks, and 9 bad weeks. Then you throw Henry in the mix, and what TDs/yards does Brown lose? I like your idea of trying to get both receivers from him. He's stacked at WR, and could part with a couple. I'm targeting Wayne and either Fitz or Williams (I prefer Fitz). thoughts?

I wonder if maybe both of you are overvaluing Chris Brown. He plays for a team which will be primarily throwing the ball (bad teams play from behind) and also Brown has a very shaky injury history. If you can get more for Brown, then by all means do it, but I don't know if I'd accept the deal if I was the other owner. I'm assuming you start 2 RBs, right? If so, Portis and JJones will be his starters. Bennett, Henry, and Brown would be backups. There's a decent chance that JJones could get hurt, but then you have an RBBC (Henry/Brown) to figure out. I don't think it puts him in a real enviable situation.
