I am in a league with the usual point values except that we also get 1 point for every reception.

I have Curtis Martin going up against Miami or Lamont Jordan going up against Kansas City.  Who would you start?

Its the Raiders home opener. Each team should score in the 40's. Last week the Raiders threw to Jordan 5 time for 40 yrds. You can count on that to double this week.

While I TOTALLY disagree with this proclamation...

... (Martin historically is (in)famous for getting out the gate slowly), I agree that the safer bet here is Jordan.  Miami's run defense is just too tough.

Incidentally, I kind of feel the opposite of the way soso feels.  I think Martin will have another modest day, though he made see pay-dirt once this week, and I think the Jets will get the win.

jordon's past master didn't fare well against kc ( & jordon didn't do that well either) -  i'm hopin, despite moss's presence, that collins will be on a down in his up & down pattern...more to prove for nyj...i like boomer's favorite martin...but i'm an emotional guy sometimes - i need for oakland to tank this week or i'm a dead man...good luck...
