Following their 22-7 loss to the Steelers on Sunday, the Texans have fired their offensive coordinator, Chris Palmer. Undoubtedly, Coach Capers' decision was based on the ineptitude that the offensive line has shown in the last few years. It's funny, then, that the new offensive coordinator should be none other than offensive line coach Joe Pendry. http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/fb/texans/3361073

If it came right down to it, I'd rather be Nick Nolte than Gary Busey.

Well, depending on how the Texans fair in the "Bush Bowl", winning it by losing it, I suppose, this may just be the proverbial "beginning of the end" for Mr. Davis with the Texans AND, perhaps, his NFL career (think, "Travis Henry"), which would be such a travesty. Anyway, from "The REAL Feed": Texans' Davis has surgery, won't reach 1,000 yards ESPN: NFL (29.12.2005 09:27) Davis won't reach 1,000 yards for first time in career by Associated PressHOUSTON -- Houston Texans running back Domanick Davis hadarthroscopic knee surgery Wednesday and will miss the season finaleat San Francisco. Davis missed four games, including the last two, with kneeinflammation. "B...

Names starting be thrown around... From "The REAL Feed": Texans will interview Kubiak for opening SI.com: NFL (02.01.2006 18:27) As a Bronco fan, this makes me nervous... I know the guy probably deserves a shot at a head-coaching gig, but... | I DIGRESS...
Quick reflection... from the mind of the admin... Isn't it nice that we can report this kind of relatively small, speculative stuff without having to start a new thread? I mean, save for this thread, this somewhat valuable news would not be reported in "the Red Zone"; I would NOT want a "Kubiak to Texans" thread started. I wouldn't even want a "Kubiak tracker" thread started. ... There is a method behind the madness, fellas... |
