Should I consider benching Horn this week?

Starting 3 WR's of the 4 listed

Horn -vs- Buf   I know conventional wisdom says do not bench him......but??????
J Smith -vs- Den    Just always seems to get that TD
D Jax -vs- Was    It's Washington...right?
Burress -vs- STL  Manning to Burress seems to be all you hear up there!

Give me some advise Gridiron GURUS!!!!!!!

I'm starting Horn this week.

He is a MUST start every week.  The only way he would ever be benched is if he had a broken leg.

He will be playing this weekend.  Start'em over Smith.

Denver's pass D is not that bad, and they held T.Green last week to only 1 TD, and that was a garbage TD.

Yes, I would go with Horn.  I would actually leave Jackson on your bench.  Washington's secondary is just that good.  Burress is coming along and St. Louis can make just about any receiver look good.  Do NOT pull Smith out against Denver.  He has had two really "eh" weeks in a row (if he didn't catch that game-winner last week, his numbers would have been paltry).  He is due for a nice, consistently-contributing-throughout-the-game week and Denver without Champ or with a REALLY banged-up Champ is just what the doctor ordered.  It'll probably be without Champ and if so, Jimmy goes up against the rook Williams or the walking toaster Walls.  That spells "B-I-G G-A-M-E" for the savvy vet.  Good luck!

Horn is listed at questionable due to his hamstring.  This fact, coupled with going against the Bills defense lead me to think you should bench him.

I am going to bench him in favor Lelie and Michael Clayton.

In all fairness, I am making this move largely because I am a Bills fan and I have a huge problem starting my fantasy guys against my favorite team.

Horn is a must start.  Leave DJax on the bench.  SEA doesn't seem to play as well when they travel to the East Coast.   I like Smith vs. DEN too.   Burress should do fine vs. a poor STL secondary.

I know that Horn always plays hurt and is a "NEVER BENCH"
guy. But it's hard to start someone hurt when you've got pretty decent receiver's on the bench. Please give me anything else that may talk me into or out of Da' Pine for Horn.

My answer remains the same.  Just be ready to adjust to circumstances and switch out Horn for Jackson last-minute if you are allowed to.  Good luck with this sticky sitch, bro!

What do you make of the DJax injury report? I guess out of the two Questionables....I'd definately have to go with Horn now.

I thought they announced Horn is NOT playing this week.........  Stallworth is the go to guy.  Am I dreaming?

MAN...don't say that!!!

Although that would make my "who do I start" question..easy. However..I do have Engram on my roster and if DJax was completely ruled out too, I suppose I could go there if I absolutely had to.

...just a couple of observations from a saints fan...first, am i the only one to notice that they are not using horn in the same fashion as previous seasons???...i almost NEVER remember horn running little dinky across the middle routes for most of a game - he is now & it disturbs me...2nd i have finally lost all faith in aaron brooks - yes he'll have huge games and miserable games...but it seems to me (this season) it's beyond that...he has no grasp on the situation and looks actually worse to me than previous yrs...buffalo has a terrible run defense, and i expect deuce to run all day - their passing d isn't bad...i don't have a great deal of confidence in the younger manning, but i don't think burrus is a bad gamble this week - and i just think horn would be a gamble also, but against a better secondary...but what do i know, i sat 38 pts last week...good luck,
prm...

Horn is probably OUT today!  below clip is from CBS sportsline.com:

Joe Horn, WR NO

News: According to reports, Joe Horn (hamstring) will not be active in Week 5 at Green Bay. Devery Henderson will start in his absence, and Az-Zahir Hakim will be the Saints' No. 3 wide receiver.

Analysis: This ailment must be serious for Horn to miss two consecutive starts. The Saints don't have a bye until Week 10, so this injury could nag him for much of the season.

this clip is from foxsports:

9:54 am et

Joe Horn - WR - Saints

FoxSports.com report Joe Horn is not expected to play against the Packers Sunday.
Devery Henderson will reportedly get the start against the Packers. We'll update once its official, but don't count on Hollywood today. Oct. 9 - 9:51 am et
