| MIA D is a good start, but he owns BUF! (Don't tell BroncoSteg, but this Raiderette is starting the Denver D in one of her leagues this week.... )

All I have seen is that Horn is a game time decision and still listed as questionable. If he's playing, I'd play him. After that, in this order: Galloway, definitely. Clayton will have Ty Law all over him, so Galloway benefits. Jurevicius is no lock, but he should be the first look for Hass against a bad secondary. Curtis should do well with Bulger throwing everything including the kitchen sink. I wouldn't play R. Williams, since BAL is getting back to form. And like I said, the Denver D. See the Bronco FF Specific Team Report.

| I just like Jurevicious over Curtis rick....I guess it's just a gut feeling I get and not really any specific factoid about either receiver!! Jurevicious will see the majority of balls in Seattle.....Curtis will be fighting to get them thrown his way(he will get his share mind you), but Holt, Mac, Looker, Jackson, and Faulk will all get them too...WHO gets the most after Holt? I think it will be Mac! As for defense..I'd go with Denver!! Good luck to ya'

 | I DIGRESS...
First off, thanks for your efforts recycling this thread, rick. Nothing worse than a forum where threads fly off page one in an hour or less. |
|
| | As for your lineup,... MC's pretty much right... I would, however, use Reed over Vanderjagt... in a coin flip... best three out of five...

I can't believe I'm going to say this, BUT at WR I'd actually use Hakim over Lelie. The Giants secondary gives fits to speedsters, read Holt in Week Four and Glenn in Week Six. Mr. Lelie is NOT going to break the trend. What kind of free-agent pickins you got to choose from??? Hakim is a pretty shitty choice... At RB, I'd actually roll my dice on Perry and Williams. I think the Baltimore is in for a rough game on the ground. Of course, if you don't have the stomach for that. I'd put Lewis in over... flipping coin)... Perry. Although Taylor's style of running, ability to get to the outside, may be conducive to better success against the Bears, what I don't have the stomach for, vis-a-vis the above, is benching a guy I expected to be a top-five back coming into the season for his backup. As for the D's you have, I don't like either choice. Coin flip... I'd go with KC. The Bills can't be trusted. KC, I think, is the better team. Good luck!

| Dang Rick you do have some slim pickins this week!! Go with Hakim against the Rams. He has put up a couple good weeks as second fiddle, but Stallworth is questionable which may make Az the #1 look. At RB you are hurting a bit my friend...of the 4 you presented only Lewis is a starter, but Taylor has been outdoing him with less carries. I think I'd still go with Jamal by attrition. I would also go with either Perry, as he looks better than Rudi and may out produce him as well or Ricky in a coin flip. He has to do better than last week...right!!?? He should see about 3 - 5 passes and should run the ball close to 10 times I would think. Kind of a toss up there! At defense I'd roll with the Bills. Good Luck

For Lelie, the Giants give up fantasy points to WRs, and they are an injured, lousey pass D. I say Lelie breaks out this week. For Hakim, Horn and Stallworth are injured, and the Rams give up TDs to WRs. But the Saints are having their problems. I would rate Lelie over Hakim. Jamal Lewis has been slumping, and he is playing the Chicago D. Chester Taylor is the backup, and should have the shorter end of the RBBC stick, if it comes to that. And he is playing the Chicago D, too. As for Chris Perry, Rudi gets most of it, and they are playing the Steeler rush D forchrissakes. As for Ricky Williams, the Chiefs have given up only a few scores to RBs so far, and Ricky will probably take a second seat again to Ronnie. If the Dolphins are smart, they will pass against the lousey KC pass D. Tough call at RB. Guess I would go with Lewis and Ricky, since I doubt if C. Taylor and Perry will get much. Who knows. Saban could do some surprises. He needs to, and these things have been happening all over the league this year. (This is a pure gamble, BTW.) If you want my choice between C. Taylor and Perry, I would go with Perry over Taylor. More likely to get a shot at a score. D - DEFINITELY Bills. The Chiefs will do their O thing against MIA, and the Raiders are a question mark against the Bills this week.
