Well, I would actually go for Bollinger for this week ONLY. Carolina might be a great team, but they are HORRIBLE against the pass. Brooks looked real good last week coming off the bench and throwing for 2 TD's and over 100 yds. (which is why he is starting this week) Detroits pass D on the other hand is in the top 10 of the league and their defense is the only reason they have won games this year. I like to play matchups, Carolina will have the Jets down early, which means they are gonna be passing all day long. Where as the Lions and Cards game will be a lot more about ball management, and turnovers. Which usually results in a lot more running plays. Just my 2 bits. O4L

BUT, even though I really like Bollinger (got him in the GBRFL; picked him up the first time last year, for goodness sake) and think he has a future in the NFL, I evidently do not see as much promise for him this week against the Panthers in Carolina as you do. Garbage time (and one lucky, early TD completion) aside, did you not see what they did to Simms last week in Tampa? I don't give a rat's ass what the rankings might indicate, I think they got a fine pass D, one that will give Bollinger fits, at any rate.

Frerotte Warner Johnson Holcomb That is my ranking, but there are all about the same. This a tough pick...a very tough pick. They are all so close. Go with Frerotte. I agree with Steelking. The Patriots pass defense is weak. Holcomb completed 20 of 33 for 263 yards, a touchdown and an interception against the Patriots. This was the first decent passing day the Bills had in some time. If the Bills can do it, the Dolphins can. Frerotte, by a nose.
