Trust Marion Barber at flex this week?

Julius Jones is coming back but isn't expected to carry a whole lot of the load.  If it's not Marion Barber (@ PHI), it's a WR - Greg Lewis (vs. DAL) or Brian Finneran (vs. GBP).  (One last bye week.)

This league gives a point per reception & standard scoring the rest of the way.

Edit - Sorry about the modify.  I forgot to put in the match-ups the first time, and that matters!

Simply put,... I would rank them in the following order:  1) Greg Lewis, 2) Marion Barber, and a VERY distant 3) Brian Finneran.  Is there anybody else more playable than Finneran available on your league's waiver wire?  I wouldn't even consider him.  Good luck!

The waiver wire is not an option.  Lots of teams, deep benches, picked clean most of the year.  Players showing up are also tough to get.  In this league, WW requests are accepted Tuesday through Friday at 6 pm, but they are only processed at 6 pm on Friday.  No other WW work allowed.  Actually, aside from late-in-the-week injuries, it adds an interesting twist to things - but I wouldn't want to play EVERY league that way!

Trades are rare, so those are the options.

Callie, I like Lewis as well. With the point per reception factored in he should do pretty well I think.   Good luck with your choice!!

I just want to say your not that far off in wanting to start M. Barber this week. I'd be thinking of starting him If I didn't have ronnie brown or kevin Curtis (not really sure why I spelled that with a K, maybe the same reason I spelled Plax with an E?)

Anyway, if you get a full point per reception you have to go with Lewis, but who knows what Parcells is thinking...Barber was lookin pretty goood

Thanks for the advice, guys.  As recommended, I plugged in Lewis at flex, but I can change that before gametime if I need to.  I'll be home Sunday morning until about noon this week.
