Right now, for the duration of this year, I like them in the following order: 1) Cedric Benson (I think he will start earning his bucks in a BIG way; as good as Jones had been, Benson is going to EXPLODE and also become difficult to justify benching and, furthermore, he was their original plan A, i.e. the guy they really wanted to go with), 2) Jamal Lewis (not going to do a whole hell of a lot from here on out, but he is the main show in town), 3) Willie Parker (love the guy, but he's banged up, and Duce is healthy and looks good, too, and Bettis will eventually be back in the mix, as well; read,... CROWDED backfield; Willie will have his chance to shine again next year). Good luck!

Boy,... I can see that you guys are going to need a serious dose of "Thomas Jones withdrawl" serum. ... Benson is "their" guy. They paid him to be so... They waited for him once before the season... They waited for him again during it... Thomas Jones is on such a thin leash, which is about to tighten big-time during today's game. (Think of me saying this in the soft, but firm tone of a psychotherapist... while doing this: ...) It doesn't matter how well he played. You must blot that out as a fantasy footballer. He is VERY soon to commence assuming a "Priest Holmes-in-Baltimore-behind-Jamal-Lewis" posture circa 1998 - 2000. I'm sorry,... but you have to get ready for it,... AND get ready to "get over it"... ...

Well,... best laid plans, right? That's all fucked now... If Benson's knee is badly shredded, Jones has new life in the windy city, including for next year. A knee-ligament injury at this point in the season, especially to a rookie who held out as long as he did, probably hurts him going into next year... ...
