| Probably not to good of one. Anthony Thomas has had many opportunities recently and just couldn't get it done. However, in New Orleans, he may have a chance with constant injuries to Stecker and Smith. Maybe worth a flier for a week or do. If he does not get a chance in two weeks, dump him.

Well, I actually DRAFTED Anthony Thomas this year with my last round pick. Because I just knew J.J. would get hurt. How sorely dissapointed I was to see A-train perform sooo poorly. I was a big Thomas believer at the beginning of this year. And watched my "steal of the draft" turn in to the laughing stock of the league. He has ABSOLUTELY no value as for I am in a deep keeper league myself. If you want him, you can still pick him up as did I in the last round next year. It still makes me want to cry. Fuck'n A-train screwed me bigtime this year. O4L

O4l, what exactly were you expecting him to do in Dallas? And, how could he "screw you" so "big-time" when all he was was a last-pick flyer? I mean he was second or third or fourth in the Dallas pecking order. He was "disappointing" that one game against the Giants where he did get 21 carries and averages 2.2 yards per rush. In any other game, he didn't receive enough carries to really be evaluated. Cedric Benson through Week 7 was garbage according to this logic taken to it's logical extreme,... and how about Samkon Gado, who I am (safely?) guessing many of you are a little excited about (or maybe not) and would recommend taking over Thomas. Yet, if the logic O4l employs is used on Gado, he's junk too. He just happened to get a lucky touchdown. ... It's funny... I see him as one of those guys whose slipped between the NFL's cracks. I see New Orleans as the last chance for him to (somewhat) salvage his career (Dallas was really NOT the right situation; Parcells has too little patience). If he does fairly well in New Orleans, which he has great incentive to do, namely, to save his career, he may just find himself in, say, Green Bay next year. ... I guess... my only point is that now is the time when the iron may be hot for this guy, NOT going into the season. This guy wasn't even on my radar then, to be quite frank. And,... look,... that's not to say that I am a believer and think he will without doubt finally pan out. I'm just saying, if there ever is (going to be) a time, now is it...

Well, he screwed me 2 games in a row. I let the first game pass by as shaking out the cobwebs. Then, he let Marion Barber outplay him the second game the J.J. was out and just royally put me in a hole that game as well. I really expected J.J. to get hurt this year (which he did) and A-train looked pretty good last year. But, to get to the NEW saints situation. Antowain Smith looks really good and I seriously doubt (barring injury) Thomas will move above him on the roster. O4L
