... Patriots RB Heath Evans this week?  Consider your responses in light of the following articles:

"Calf woes keep Dillon on sideline"

"Pass wants to carry on"

"Running wounded: Dillon, other Patriots' backs in doubt"

Also, how good of a "long-term" pick-up might RB Patrick Pass be?

As we would expect, looks like the Pats will wait until game time to announce who will start.  But it just doesn't look good for Dillon this week, and even if he plays he may not get a lot of work until he heals.  Even with Dillon in, Evans may be a good play.  Pass won't get the amount of touches Evans will get if Dillon sits.  If you have the roster room, I'd pick Evans up on spec even if Dillon plays.  Dillon may do a Ferguson and just keep getting hurt, and NE needs to give an RB a lot of touches.

I would say Evans is a good pick-up, especially at this time of the season when the waiver wire is bare and teams tend to be too protective to trade anything worth having.

Hey, didn't Droughns start out as a full back until he got his shot?

ESPN is reporting that Dillon is OUT.  So that means Evans is going to get some carries.  After last weeks performance and the fact that Pass is coming off injury, he will get the start.

SO I would say that he is a great pick up.  Definite starter this week and possibly next.

There is definitely something wrong with Dillon.....  I think it is the end for him.......

I picked up Evans this week AND I am starting him.  But that probably means that he won't get squat

Well, wish me luck
