Major WDIS issues this week:

Two games out of the playoffs, so I need a win.  I'm pretty up in the air at 2 positions

QB - Favre vs. Minn or Hass @ SF
RB - LJ @ HOU, RBrown @CLE, Jones @TEN, Moore @GB, Rudi vs IND

I'm leaning toward the bolded players, but I'm having a tough time benching Rudi.

thoughts?

Favre on MONDAY night against (weak-ass) NFC North division rival Minnesota (so the game actually matters)... hard to pass up.  And, I would NOT.  Hasselbeck and the Seahawks are likely to get ahead big and stop throwing the ball, especially with the MONSTER known as Shaun Alexander back there to tote the rock.  On the other hand, the Green Bay-Minnesota game is likely to be nip-and-tuck, meaning you get 100% of Favre for 60 minutes vis-a-vis (the probability of getting) 100% of Hasselbeck for 30 to 45 minutes and 50% after that.

I agree with your RB selections.  They are right... Good luck!

I agree with everything, except I might play Rudi over R. Brown.  CLE is a softer matchup against the run than IND, but Ronnie may have to share the ball with Ricky more than Rudi has to share it with Perry.

It's definitely tough to bench Hasselbeck, but I think Steg has it right on how those opponents might affect the respective passing games

Favre   is your man. Like Steg said......Alexander will end up with the BIG stats over there.  I like your RB choices...solid in my book. Good luck amigo.

I would start Favre if I were you. His last game at Minnesota he scored me 24 points. Favre generally has trouble with the tough defenses such as Cinci and Pittsburgh, but not with teams like Minnesota. Give him a weak defense and he will throw for 250 Yds a game.

One of his WR's may be back this week ( Robert Ferguson), although he tweeked his knee in practice and may or may not start......

If you get negative points for picks or sacks I would go with Hass.  Even though Alexander will have a big day on the ground I would expect a decent day out of Hass.  Favre is too streaky.  Since the win is so important I would go with consistency.

I agree with your RB selections as well.

This is my exact thought behind the conundrum.  2 TDs and 3 picks is not a great day
