work league, so major braggin' rights here!

Hass has been my QB all year, but I doubt he plays more than a quarter in this one   so I'm trying to find a viable fill in.

Already hit the waiver for Holcomb, Carr & Sorgi.  so....who would you play outta these?

On the roster
Hass
Sorgi
Carr *leaning this way...great matchup, no Davis
Holcomb

On the WW
Leftwich
Simms
Collins
Boller
Bollinger
Grossman
Seneca Wallace
Jamie Martin
Frye
Bouman
Harrington

Thanks!

Carr is a good choice, however, I may consider Collins.

Carr is a solid option.  But, this IS the Reggie Bush bowl, so who knows what will happen.

Me personally would pick up Simms.  He has a great matchup versus the 'aints at home this week, AND he is playing for a division title.

He played descent last week with over 250 yds and 2 TD's, but he did throw 2 INT's.

Simms has more to play for than any other option you have available.  I would go with him.

Good luck,

I'd play Carr.  The 9ers have the worst pass D in the league and their secondary is beat up. And Carr is playing for his job.

As for Collins, the Giants' secondary is no prize, but Collins is hit or miss now and has probably lost his job already.  I wouldn't be surprised to see them even put in Walter for a while to give him some field time.  Or put in Tui to let him show if he can do anything.  Or both.  Why not?

I'm not sold on Simms.  He has a good match-up, but the TB D will be all over Galloway and Clayton is out.

I'm not putting much stock in this "Reggie Bush Bowl" crap ESPN is shoving down our throats.   These guys play to win, and never...NEVER have I heard any play admit their team threw a game to get a draft pick.

It makes good radio fodder, but it just doesn't seem plausible that it actually happens on the field.

Now....if Brandon Lloyd and Andre Johnson are mysteriously inactive for this weeks game...well THEN there might be something to it!

I think the Bucs roll the 'aints, and we see a lot of Caddy in that one.  I'm leary of going with Simms for that reason.

I'd go with Boller, Carr, Sorji or Holcomb in that order:  Boller based on matchup, even though Cleveland can be great at times,... see last week; Carr based on matchup and the fact that I do think he is a good player who just happens to be on a lousy team; Sorji based on matchup and the fact that I think that Indy really would like to get a win going into the playoffs and to lift them out of the emotional mire over Dungy's son; Holcomb based on matchup and the fact that he is a cut above the rest.

Good "New Year's" luck!

Something to consider:

Sorgi will see lots of time. With both Stokley and Harrison hurt, it leaves Reggie Wayne on the field all day. I think sorgi is a good play. However, I think the ole site Master is correct in the choice of Boller first, Sorgi later.

Boller, Carr, Sorgi, Simms, in that order.

I think Boller will have another really good week.

i picked up both carr and boller to play instead of carson palmer this week as i battle for 3rd place.  at least with a win i can look down on 7 league members.  i like carr's matchup, but boller seems to have gotten his act together the last 2 weeks.

i just like the decisions boller has made recently.....so i am going with boller.  good luck with your decision.
