Offseason Trade Offer

Like Kidcrash, I too have received an off-season trade  offer in a legacy league.

16 Team League
$30 salary cap
Start one at each position plus three wildcards (any pos but defense)
Traditional scoring for RB's plus .25 pts per rush attempt and .5 pts per catch

I have Edgerrin James at 7.60 and have been offered Ronnie Brown at 2.50.  James is the better player, by far, in my opinion.  I can also afford James with my current roster.

Since the salary difference between James and Brown is so big, should I go after Brown?  I may also be able to get DeShaun Foster (2.20) instead.  With his injury history, is he worth it?

Thoughts?

With his injury history and his current injury he'll be rehabbing AND Eric Shelton hungry as hell waiting in the wings, NO, he's not worth it.  I would NOT do that deal straight-up.  Is there anything you can get him to throw in to sweeten the pot?

He really doesn't have much.  At best I could get him to trade me both.  But I agree with your assessment on Foster so both really won't help me.  I wasn't going to do it but I wanted some insight from our in-house experts.  Thanks Steg!
