This is GREAT news for the Cardinals.  With Boldin, Fitzgerald, and now James, they are going to be an offense to be dealt with.  The only (large) question mark they have is Warner at QB.

This is also not too bad for James owners.  With that offense, he should have lots of room to run.  In addition, it could of been a lot worse.  He could of ended up going to Baltimore.......

There's a pulse in Arizona for the Cards...  From "The REAL Feed":

Cardinals on TV in Arizona? Season tickets gone
ESPN: NFL (05.05.2006 10:00)
For the first time since they relocated to Arizona in 1988, the Cardinals may televise all eight of their regular-season home games on local television.

This is WONDERFUL news for a franchise that's been mired in its own muck for SO MANY years...

WR corps take a minor injury setback......I'm hoping it's minor!!

Anquan Boldin - Hamstring - Questionable for Aug. 12 preseason game vs. Pittsburgh

He has missed the past couple of practices.

I hate the hammy injuries.....seem like they have a tendency to pop up all season after they start!!

Perhaps the public spanking that Leinhart took in the press today by Dennis Green got him a bit motivated.

That's what was indicated during tonight's game...

For those who didn't know about the public tongue-lashing Leinart took from Green that c-dub makes mention of, here's a piece on that... from "The REAL Feed":

Cards coach Green lashes out at Leinart, QB's holdout
ESPN: NFL (14.08.2006 20:18)
Arizona Cardinals coach Dennis Green has lost his patience with rookie Matt Leinart and his contract holdout.

And, here's the first link I can find on Leinart's signing...  Brought to you via "the Gridiron Newsstand":

"Cards' Green voices frustration with Leinart"

Here's the "kicker" (no, not Rackers, c-dub... ... )...  This is how the article "kicks off" (again, nothing related to Rackers here, c-dub... ):

"Hours before reports that Matt Leinart finally agreed to a contract with the Cardinals, coach Dennis Green said he had lost his patience with the rookie quarterback's holdout."

So, I guess is wasN'T the tongue-lashing... ...

This post would really be more appropriately posted on "the Sidelines", but I didn't know where to post it over there, and I didn't want to start a whole new thread just for it... So, it makes some sense here on this thread...  This piece does not regard hardcore fantasy football...  It's just a neat article.  Were you guys aware that the Cards are (kind of) the NFL's oldest franchise???  Buried in this article they do a quick trace-back to Charles Bidwell's purchase.  It's neat to see how things come to be... out of yesteryear... From "The REAL Feed":

NFL 2006: The oldest franchise in the NFL is reborn, maybe
SI.com: NFL (17.08.2006 11:14)
