Draft thoughts

Girls and boys,

 1.      In my scoring only league, I will save Dominic Rhodes for a 9th round pick. Remember that I live in Indy. Everybody is a Colt fan. I would like to back up Rhodes with Addai. How long do you suppose I can wait to draft him. (12 team league)

2. I can save Reggie Wayne for a third round pick. Should I?

3. Carson Palmer for a No# 1 ?

FYI
I select in the 10th, 15th, 34th, 39th, 58th, 63rd ect...

Steel,

If you want Addai, Rhodes, Wayne and Palmer, it's going to be tough, unless one of them falls further than where they have been drafted so far.

1) Addai is going in the late 4th round generally, so around pick 45-50.  You should try to reserve pick #39 for him.

2) Reggie Wayne is going in the late 3rd round, or picks 35-40, if you want him, pick #34 is about right.

3) It is totally unnecessary to spend a 1st round pick on Carson Palmer, as he is being drafted, like Addai, in the late 4th round.  You probably won't get him if you take Addai and Wayne, unless he falls to #58.  Also remember he probably won't be ready for the first couple games, and QBs available at #54 should be Hasslebeck and Eli Manning.  Manning might be a great choice there.

4) Dominic Rhodes looks to be going in the late 6th round, so #63 should be perfect for that pick.

sk...I've been in 3 drafts this year and in 3 or 4 mocks. I'd have to agree with JYJ on most parts. Addai has gone before Rhodes in 2 of my 3 drafts at an average of pick 47 and Rhodes falling shortly thereafter at around an average of 57th. Wayne has been selected 29th, 37th, and 39th overall in my drafts. Palmer is harder to figure out. He has jumped all over the place. He has been the 2nd QB gone on all 3 of my drafts and averages around the 44th pick in most recent mocks I've seen. I believe he will be ready to go for the season opener. I base that on his way above schedule rehab. Good luck bud!!

Modified: Just reread your post...in a scoring only league, I think Palmer is a much higher pick. If he only threw half of his TD total from last year then he is still top 5!!

Fellas,
Remember, I can save Rhodes(Keeper) For a 9th round pick. Thats done. Do I want Addai at all? I think Rhodes is gonna win the spot.
Also Keeper spot for Wayne is the 34th pick. Is he WORTH it? TD only!
