Update on Martin... From "The REAL Feed": Mangini: No timetable set on Martin's return to Jets ESPN: NFL (11.10.2006 19:18) The New York Jets certainly could use a healthy Curtis Martin in their struggling backfield. But coach Eric Mangini said there is no timetable on the running back's return. And, of more pressing significance,... an update on Coles: Jets' Coles listed as questionable The Sports Network: NFL (11.10.2006 19:18) Of course, he has been "questionable" and "playing" for the last four or so weeks now...

There it is... I think this may just be it... I remember draftin' this guy in the 4th round of the GBRFL restocking draft of 1995, the one draft I had to do from South Korea (all the other years I was back in Jersey on vacation). (I digress... I remember getting my beloved Robert Smith too in the 2nd that year.) From "The REAL Feed": Report: Jets' Martin done for season, career in jeopardy ESPN: NFL (31.10.2006 00:21) Curtis Martin, the leading rusher in Jets history, will not play this season because of the same bone-on-bone condition in his right knee that has kept him on the PUP list for the first eight weeks of the season, the Newark Star-Ledger reported.
