Bad news for the Eagles... not only did they lose a key division game, at home, but they may have lost Jevon Kearse for the season. It appears that he may have torn ligaments in his knee. Early in OT, Kearse hobbled off the field with leg cramps, and then came back a play later to assist on a sack. During the sack, teammate Mike Patterson rolled onto Kearse's left knee and Kearse was carted off the field in obvious pain. The Eagles do have great depth at the DE position, so the injury won't be as devastating as it could have been. The Eagles, already short on CBs, had to replace Rod Hood who suffered a severe bruise of the heel. Joselio Hanson and Dexter Wynn both had to step in and play expanded roles. LJ Smith had more than 100 receiving yards, but suffered a mild shoulder injury in the first quarter. He kept playing and should be ready to go next week. Brian Westbrook, who missed practice with a bruised knee this week, played the entire game and showed no ill effects.

| Unless the coach decides to deactivate a couple of them an hour before gametime. Westbrook is out as is Sheppard. It's hurting them already as Buckhalter, running well enough, has fumbled twice inside the opponent's five yard line.

I hope you guys are enjoying the Eagles Fantasy Specific Analysis on the Team Reports page each week... Here are a couple gems from this week: Quote:Hank Baskett: (Low #4) This could be the week he makes his first NFL TD catch. Look for him to get a little less attention from the defense than some of the other receivers. He's got the trust of McNabb and should be able to get up and over Anthony Henry. |
| He caught 3 balls for 112 yards and an 87-yard TD. Ironically, he didn't get up an over anyone, as he was being covered by 6'5" safety Pat Watkins for the big one. and... Quote:| For the IDPers, consider using DE Darren Howard this week. He was a monster in preseason, but has been quiet so far in the regular season. This week is his coming-out party as he lines up against a Dallas RT that isn't playing well. |
| Howard was huge this week. Four solos, three assists, and a couple of sacks. If you get fantasy points for being flat-out disruptive and forcing a number of double-teams, Howard probably got you even more points.
