Is it me or shouldn't the Falcons consider Denny Green?  Remember what he did for the later Randall Cunningham and Daunte Culpepper in Minnesota.  With Vick he'd have a hybrid of sorts of the two.  I don't care what he did or didn't do in Arizona.  It's all about the right fit, and it seems to me that Green and Vick could be the right fit.  I heard rumors of Steve Mariucci...  I like Mooch, but... NOOOOO!!!  Enough of trying to fit Vick into a west-coast style system. He's got too strong of an arm and he's, oddly enough to say, too good of a runner for that.  He needs to be in a system where he, on any given play, either winds up and heaves it or takes off and runs it.  I also think Green, as a bit of a father figure, could do a lot for Vick's character issues,... something a baby-faced Mora could not do/couldn't be expected to do.

The Falcons need to go to the college ranks and grab Rich Rodriguez from WVU. Imagine Pat White-Steve Slaton in the form of Michael Vick-(Warrick Dunn/Jerious Norwood). That would be fun to watch.

But I agree with you. Vick cannot/will not succeed in the WCO. The Falcons could do a lot worse than Denny Green. However Green did deserve to get the pink slip after failing to lift Arizona up with all the talent they have.

Interesting development...  Brought to you via "the Gridiron Newsstand":

"Falcons' Petrino: Vick allowed to call plays"

Look,... I think at this point any change is good, moreover, one that puts the ball "more" in Vick's hands, so to speak.  Like I've stated above, I think Vick just needs more leeway to do "his thang"...
