rick...you'll do ok with Driver but I personally would go with Mason. I believe McNair will have just a tad more time to throw than Favre will and it is too soon to put your faith in Brown. .....for what it's worth

Well, I would actually go with Reggie Brown on this one.

Reason 1.) He has a better QB throwing to him than Driver or Mason.
2.) He is facing the weaker secondary against the Texans than Driver or Mason.
3.) The play action might work for the ravens so Mason gets a + on this one as well.  But Westbrook will definately make the defense stop if they think its going to him.  Which will leave Reggie wide open down the sideline for the 60 yd. TD.

I like Reggie on this one

Hope this helps,

I second MC, personally.  Mason is healthy and ready to strut his stuff with Stevie Mac again.  I wouldn't go with Driver based on matchup, period.  As for Mase versus Brown, it's a team's #1 versus another team's #2/#1 but on the verge of being their #2 (if things with Stallworth go as planned).

I too would go with Mason. He is back with Mcnair, the only QB he had his entire season basically. Mason will get the ball often. He will also have another 100 yd season and 7 Tds.
Brown is still unproven...Driver had a solid year last year becasue he was the only WR their that had skills. I think Mason is the guy to start based on matchups as well as Steg had stated.

The Bears have a great D, but when they get beat, it's through the air. Just look at their playoff game against the Panthers and Steve Smith. Now Green Bay is far from Carolina, and Driver is no Steve Smith, but Favre will air it out and Driver is his go-to guy. First game of the season... in Green Bay... I like Driver. Good luck.

thanks for all of the input! i went with driver, but i don't think it would have mattered. i had terrible matchups and took a severe beating! this week matchups are a bit kinder.

my lineup:
qb bledsoe vs redskins
qb mcnair vs raiders
rb  rjohnson vs browns
rb  mcgahee @ dolphins
rb  gore vs rams
rb  mbell vs chiefs
wr  driver vs saints
wr  chambers vs bills
wr  mason vs raiders

i start 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 1k, 1d.  scoring i 6pts for td and 1 for 10yds rushing/receiving/return and 1 for 25yds passing.

any help would be appreciated. i got this bad feeling it will be a season long struggle.   thanks.

I like McNair...the bears will do their best to pound the ball on the ground and Grossman will not have the kind of passing week that he has been having...the running game will get better this week.

I concur with four of your five choices.  But, I am with cw on McNair over Grossman.  I'm not in love with either of them this week, but I'd go with the "weaker" "overall" defensive matchup.
