Packers In-season Report

K-Rob lands in Green Bay... according to "The REAL Feed":

Koren Robinson lands with Pack
ESPN: NFL (11.09.2006 19:09)
Koren Robinson wasted his second chance with the Minnesota Vikings. The Green Bay Packers are giving him a third, however.

But, how long will they have him?  Isn't a YEAR-long suspension in the works?  How "temporary" of a "fix" is this?  Can anybody say, "Desperate!"?  Ultimate question,... WHY?

If K-Rob actually does show any hope over the next few weeks, just keep this in mind...  Currently from atop "The REAL Feed":

Robinson Gets Jail Time
About.com: Football (05.10.2006 00:31)
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Koren Robinson has failed to do what all the other recent lawbreakers in the NFL (even habitual violator Chris Henry) have managed to do... ...

The last game it was Noah Herron that emerged as the Packers go to guy.   Morency started the last game, but QUICKLY fell out of favor.  So, you may want to go with Herron over Morency....

Morency fumbled 3 times and is now behind Herron.   I wouldn't worry about Green unless you are super desperate.

No surprise.

I think he's something like 2 games away from Elway's record for games won and 7 TDs away from Marino's TD record.  (That's just from memory, but you get the point.....)

Edit:  OK, I read the article, and I was off by a bit.  But the point is still made.
