nice problem to have, as all are good options.   Williamson would've put up 120+ yards and a TD if he'd have caught the 3 passes he dropped.   SF will probably be down and throwing a lot, giving Davis a lot of looks.   Watson is supposedly going to have a big year, but we haven't seen that yet.

I think I'd go with Davis.   Carolina's D is still good, and may not give BJ a lot of time for the deep routes.  Watson hasn't shown us what we need to see to start him at anything other than a TE spot yet.

Good luck!

I second cp's suggestion...  It's a close call and the best game could go to any of the three, but Davis is my best "guess" to do so.  So, while that's not a really definitive take, you've at least got two of the same guesses/"hunches" as things stand right now.

I DIGRESS...
Also, nimzo, I'm guessing you've been around long enough to know the "drill" around here.  We try to keep thread proliferation at a minimum.  I'd REALLY appreciate it if you (renamed this thread if need be and) recycled it as your general "lineup help" thread.  Thank you for your anticipated understanding and cooperation!

it is a tough choice.  Williamson, based on week 1, is the man and they will find a way to get him the ball.  watson will shine at some point and has the best matchup. davis will get looks as the 49ers fall behind.

i would go with williamson at home against a struggling panthers team.  it is amazing how one wr is the difference for the panthers.

good luck with your decision.

I think Ben Watson will have a big week vs. the Jets.    I'd start him big over the other two.

eenie...meenie...miney...mo..............it's a wash IMO. The final outcome will be similar regardless of who you go with I think. If I had to lean one way or another then Williamson edges out the TE's just on the greater  possibility of catching the long ball for a TD.

I'd go Ben Watson. He's going to have to become a more integral part of the NE offense now that Branch is gone. Watson has the speed of a WR, so he'll take advantage of mismatches in the second and third levels this week.
