I am in a redraft league.

Trade offer is

Carnell Williams/Joey Galloway/Jericho Cotchery/Chad Pennington

FOR

Julius Jones/Donte Stallworth/Byron Leftwich

My team is

Jon Kitna
Byron Leftwich
Rex Grossman
Julius Jones
Lawrence Maroney
Ronnie Brown
Joseph Addai
Randy Moss
Matt Jones
Donte Stallworth
Marques Colston (TE/WR)
Robbie Gould
NE Defense

Should I do this trade to upgrade at QB and balance my WR out and to get a potential stud at RB. Julius is sharing time vs. caddy isnt. What are the views cause if its a good trade I got a panicky dude ready to trade whats the verdict?

to the site. Hope you enjoy it here and contribute as well!

I don't think I'd do the trade. TB is really struggling so far on offense, so I'm not sure I'd want to acquire two of their skill players. Also, I'm not sure that Pennington is an upgrade over Leftwich. I see them as being fairly even at this point, but Lefty is on a much better team, which gives him the edge in my book.

I'm even further on the "NO WAY" side than Philly.  This deal only weakens your team.   Bye weeks will hurt more as you have 2 Bucs and 2 Jets.   There's not enough upside anywhere here to take on that risk.

First and foremost, to the site, Bd12!  Got a great bunch.  Become part of it, man!

As for the trade, I'm with Phil and cp:  NO WAY!  Jerricho Cotchery...  There's a chance you'll never hear of the guy again.  One UNBELIEVABLE play does not make for a solid fantasy player.  Tampa is a nightmare right now, from which they may not just wake up this year.  All three of the guys you'd be giving up are foreseeably solid.  The ones you'd be getting are all foreseeable question marks to one degree or another.

I DIGRESS...
Also, Bd12, we try to keep thread proliferation at a minimum.  I'd REALLY appreciate it if you renamed this thread and for this season continued to use this thread as your general "trade help" thread as opposed to making a new one every time you come with a "trade help" question.  Thank you for your anticipated understanding and cooperation!
