I'd say this solidifies that situation (look down the list a bit to the Colts):

Colts waive Auto-matica

No link now, I'm on my way out.  But in case you missed it, the Colts re-signed Grammatica.

And now, ESPN is saying that Vinatieri will not kick today.

Colts welcome addition of McFarland (AP)
Yahoo! News: Democratic Party (18.10.2006 18:18)
The Indianapolis Colts welcomed the addition of their newest teammate, Anthony McFarland, before they even had a chance to meet him Wednesday. Thanks to a rare midseason trade before the NFL's trading deadline, the Colts think they may have fixed their leaky run defense, which desperately needed...

The transition from Rhodes to Addai is in full-swing... as per this LOCAL daily available on "The REAL Feed":

Rookie gives Colts a boost
Rocky Mountain News: Broncos & NFL (27.10.2006 02:03)
There was Reggie Bush, a transcendent college player, with Heisman Trophy in one hand, endorsement pen in the other. There was Laurence Maroney, the kind of every-down guy NFL teams covet.

But, I don't know how good of a play he's going to be this week in Denver...

BAD NEWS ON BOB SANDERS

Bob sanders does not practice Friday as coach Dungy listed him as doubtful. Local radio hacks say no way he plays. The Colts will use Marlin Jackson who rarely plays in that spot.
