I think it really depends on if you are in a re-draft league or not. If you are in a keeper league, I say NO WAY. If you are in a re-draft league I say HELL YEA!!! The Deuce is loose this year, and Alexander will miss maybe 3-4 weeks at most. And I seriously believe that the seahawks will begin a nose dive for the next month and have to work their tails off to get back into the playoff hunt (which means Alexander will be primed for the fantasy superbowl) The Saints will also be vying for a playoff spot so both Deuce and Alexander IMO will be a great combo for getting you into the fantasy playoffs. L.J. will be ineffective until the Chiefs can prove they have a passing game. Not hard to figure out who is getting the ball with a no namer for a QB. Like I said, if this is a re-draft league, accept now!!! O4L

There is serious irony here... I usually don't read others' takes until I give my own, but O4l's caught my eye... because, well, I am going to tell you to do the deal especially if it's a deep keeper league. But, ultimately, along with Callie, I think you should do it no matter what. Reggie Brown and Reggie Williams,... whatever... Who knows? I'm not a big fan (from a fantasy perspective). And, for that matter,... Cedric Benson, who I do like,... who knows? Larry Johnson is quality, for sure, but his situation is "less than ideal". On the other hand, Shaun Alexander and Marvin Harrison have lots left in their tanks, at least another couple of years each, and in fantasy keeper leagues, even though it's great to think "years" down the road, you got to acknowledge that the nearer the future is, the MORE predictable it is. Getting into the business of trying to project guys two, three, four-plus years down the line is, well, ridiculous. But, with this deal you get replenishment, anyway. You have McCallister, very likely to be with another team as early as next year, and Edwards to pick up when Alexander and Harrison start slowing. DO THIS DEAL!!!
