Derrick Ward finds new home in Florida... according to "The REAL Feed":

Report: Bucs sign RB Ward
The Sports Network: NFL (02.03.2009 23:43)

This is a nice desination for Ward.  He'll either take over the role of starting tailback from fullback-turned-tailback Earnest Graham or fill the role of the recently departed Warrick Dunn like he did in New York.  Either way, he'll produce.

I think instead of saying "best man wins....."   I think the quote should be "Least worst wins...."

What a bunch of junk they have in Tampa Bay competing for the QB position.

With all due respect, Double D, that wasn't your gift of gab when you were hoarding Leftwich on your roster... even well after he had lost his starting job.  I remember all too well.  I was trying to get him from you.  I liked him then and I still like him now, though I didn't like the drafting of Freeman, for sure.  Freeman could surely put a "Garrardian" cramp in the style of his comeback.  That said, I still like Leftwich and thought he got a raw deal in Jacksonville.

Even though it may not seem to be, this may be good news for newly-named starting QB Leftwich...  Jags was not a big supporter of Byron, and the new OC Olson is accustomed to running an offense more in tune with Leftwich's big arm and pocket-style of play (i.e. not west-coast)...  From "The REAL Feed":

Bucs fire offensive coordinator Jagodzinski
