The MUCH-needed duo of receivers brought in via the Draft impress early on... according to this LOCAL source on "The REAL Feed":
 
Giants rookie WRs impress in first NFL practice

They have a long way to go before they make anyone forget about Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer, but Tom Coughlin did have something nice to say about his two newest receivers after their first NFL practice Friday morning.
 
On a peripheral note, Brandon Jacobs makes some, what I would consider, inadvisable or at least unnecessary comments about the Giants' not acquiring Edwards or Boldin, which are noted at the end of this article.
