Don't think this'll have as much of an on-field and, thus, fantasy impact as it will a Panthers executive "warroom" impact,... but it's big news at any rate, so here it is... in the form of two headlines on "The REAL Feed" that capture both sides of the coin:
 
Panthers lock up QB Delhomme through 2014 with extension

The Carolina Panthers have signed Jake Delhomme to a five-year extension that keeps the quarterback under contract through the 2014 season. NFL.com's Steve Wyche reports the deal to be worth $42.5 million, with $20 million guaranteed.
