Looking back upon and speculating about the Bears' free-agent moves this offseason...  From "The REAL Feed":

Free Agency Not Totally Barren Yet
Scout.com > NFL > National Football League Team (13.03.2009 09:13)
The Chicago Bears haven't exactly broken the bank in free agency, inking O-lineman Frank Omiyale and safety Josh Bullocks to manageable contracts. But there are still some veteran players out on the open market that could come in and help. Get the Inside Slant from the NFL experts at Scout.com.

WOW!!! Did they overpay or what???? I guess they had to bid that much to outbid the Skins. Well they finally have a franchise QB. Now Lovie has NO EXCUSES!!! I think he will be this years Mangini, go get that stud QB, then underperform and get fired.

I see this as a great thing for the Bears, but they overpaid for him...or I could be wrong and he could be a HOF QB, only time will tell. Now all they need is WR.

Newbie wideouts to make immediate impact... according to "The REAL Feed":

Better Chance for Young WRs in '09
Scout.com > NCAA > Division I-A Football (15.05.2009 09:23)
The Chicago Bears needed a lot of help at receiver last season, so they went out and signed veterans Marty Booker and Brandon Lloyd. But this year, the younger wideouts will have to step up and deliver because nobody else is there. Get the Inside Slant from the NFL experts at Scout.com.

"Better Chance for Young WRs in '09" is the headline in the post right above...  Well, upon further review,... maybe not...  From "The REAL Feed":

Bears not pursuing WRs Burress, Marshall -- yet
SI.com: NFL (17.06.2009 17:46)
LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- At least for now, the Chicago Bears are ready to go to training camp with the wide receivers on their roster to complement new quarterback Jay Cutler.

Various chatter on the Bears... with the focus on Hester... from "The REAL Feed":

Hester Still No. 1 Despite WR Rumors

Scout.com > NCAA > Division I-A Football (26.06.2009 07:20)
The Chicago Bears may or may not have had some interest in acquiring the likes of Plaxico Burress or Brandon Marshall, but the organization from top to bottom continues to back Devin Hester and the rest of the receiving corps publicly. Get the Inside Slant from the NFL experts at Scout.com.

Dissension in the ranks???  Coach says, "No," on "The REAL Feed":

RE:  The underrated, undergraded Bears wideouts... on "The REAL Feed":

Receivers Anxious to Answer Critics
Scout.com > NCAA > Division I-A Football (03.08.2009 07:28)
Not many people out there think the Chicago Bears have enough at receiver, even Green Bay's Donald Driver. If Devin Hester and Co. did not have enough motivation before, all the criticism they're getting is adding fuel to the fire. Get the Inside Slant from the NFL experts at Scout.com.

Hester focusing and being allowed to focus on his receiving game... according to what's currently atop "The REAL Feed":

Point of no kickoff returns: Bears' Hester focusing on being a receiver
NFL.com (07.08.2009 17:28)
There's some good news for Chicago Bears opponents: Devin Hester won't return any kickoffs this season. Instead, Hester intends to focus on being a wide receiver.

Is it me or is Jay Cutler starting to remind me more and more of Jeff George,... from a personality (problem) standpoint?  From "The REAL Feed":

Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler turns heads with Devin Hester criticism on interception
ESPN: NFL (17.08.2009 20:15)
One game into the preseason and already Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has had to smooth things out with one of his wide receivers.
