So now the question is....who will be the RB in San Diego next year?  Sproles is a free agent and not an every down back.  It is so confusing as to who TRUE free agent RBs are because of the uncapped year.    
 
I believe Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams are the top 2, but I do not see either fitting that team.  There are quite a few restricted free agents......including Pierre Thomas.  Maybe swing a trade for Tashard Choice?  I just don't see the Chargers going with a rookie RB.
