Lions QB Stafford held out of practice again; WR Johnson also sits NFL.com (15.10.2009 19:17) Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was held out of practice for the third time in the last four days, leaving his availability for Sunday's game at Green Bay an open question.
Rumors are starting to fly regarding Matthew Stafford. He is going to be out this week, and rumors are flying that he might be out for a few weeks to rest the knee, possibly the entire season if surgery is required. Apparently the knee became swullen again this weekend.....
This article alludes to the fact that Culpepper will get the start if Stafford does not go. ... I don;t think anyone was sure of Culpeppers health and Stanton's status. My guess is only those in deep keep leagues even care about the Lions QB situation.
