FourTwoOh, a "shout-out" for your "support"!

Mr. FourT..., Captain Ki..., Mr. FourTwo..., Captain KB, This is gonna' come off pretty corny, I am sure. But, I don't care! It is just a little something that struck me... as intriguing! There is a team in the GBRFL that was made for you to be a fan of and to receive your web site's (non-monetary) "sponsorship." There are a couple reasons why. First off, the stash... I mean team is Doug Owens's "Kind Bud", Team 5 on the following web page: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/gbrfl/rosters.htm. If that doesn't shout out for 420's support, nothing does! Do not be shocked by the state of Doug's team, actually a "2b" reason to root for him, I suppose. The cards have really been stacked against this team. Kind Bud came into the league as an expansion team, under agreed-upon, but nonetheless inarguably hopeless circumstances, last year, the year "the Gridiron" here, of which you have become such an integral part, opened, the main second reason for you to adopt this team. Also, I can vouch for him that he is a good guy as he came in as a personal, childhood friend of mine. For him to enter the league knowing he would probably not even really be competitive for three to five years and not complain one bit speaks volumes to his character and dedication to the hobby. Hell, I find myself rooting for him even when I am playing against him, at least if I can afford the loss. I don't know how you can give any "substance" to this. It is just that the "KB" connection , especially with your web site, got me... and got me to thinkin' (a dangerous thing that I do way too much of , moreover, on useless shit ) that maybe there was something you could do to show some love to this team. Maybe, we could start up a cult following of sorts! Anyway, whatever! Just wanted to bring this little kernel (of "corn") to your, and all of your, attention for whatever it's worth! Your Friend in Fantasy Football, Steg

And, I just charitably "gave" Reggie to Doug just recently for a nothin' 6th-round pick (in a re-stocking draft of a league in which 12 are protected)! NEVERTHELESS, he plugs away with a great attitude! He's secured himself by way of trades, 5 of the 10 first-round picks, and, pending our draft lottery, he will probably end up with pick 11 (the first pick of round two) as well, giving him 6 of the first 11 picks of the draft! Where is 420 to get this "cult" started and give this guy the love he deserves? This truly is a fantasy footballer willing to work his way up from the trenches and, mind you, he had five years of on-line league experience coming in! Now that exemplifies high self-esteem, humbleness, self-confidence and most of all perseverance! League transaction details here for those interested: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/gbrfl/transactions.htm. One note, he does have QB's David Carr, Jon Kitna and Marc Bulger, all of whom might be considered better than WR Reggie Wayne! Anyway,...

Ultimately, 420, this was all just in fun. But, "for fun", you could put a link up on your site to his roster and just start a support network for this fantasy footballer with whom you have something "very" in common and who has had and still has SUCH an uphill battle ahead of him. But, whatever... Just thought it was a gritty FF story worth telling.
