KFFL... not takin' the high road!

Get a load of this crap written by Andrew Langer, an assistant editor with KFFL.  This was the meat of the "letter" of their latest "E-Wire":

Speaking of Pennington, what a sissy. He breaks his left wrist - his non-passing arm - and is going to miss 12 weeks. That means he will probably miss at least nine games. If Vinny Testaverde performs like he did at the beginning of last season, it will be a long and painful 10 weeks. Pennington needs to man up and put a cast on that wrist and play. Isn't this the NFL? Isn't this where we separate the boys from the men? Looks like we know where "BROADWAY" stands. All he seems to care about is collecting a paycheck and not proving he's a champion. Doesn't anyone have any pride or self respect anymore? This is definitely one reason I want to see Vinny succeed. Vinny, get your ass out there and prove to all of us NFL fans your still the man. Show that sissy pretty boy you still can get the job done. Okay, seriously though, this is a huge problem the Jets are going to need to deal with and Pennington's broken wrist sounds a lot more serious than it looked on the field when he went down on a routine type play. He needed SEVEN pins inserted in his wrist and there's now a chance he may even be gone for the year! Ouch. Talk about bad breaks - pardon the pun - for head coach Herman Edwards, who really is a class guy in the league.

Steggie's Editorial
I can't believe KFFL has the audacity to send this kind of fantasy-irrelevant bullshit out.  I mean this jackass is criticizing Pennington in a way that really is of little FF value/significance.  It is just mindless trash-talkin' of this genuinely good guy of the NFL, who has been putting on the pads and playing football FOR YEARS and has unfortunately sustained a BAD INJURY.  Look, I have A LOT of respect for KFFL.  They are one of the originals.  But, this is just exemplary of the "quality" of shit that is being mass-produced by these straw-reachers who are currently stumbling over each other to be the big boys on the FF block.

I can't wait for the day when fantasy footballers demand quality and not just quantity, the ultimate source of the FF shitmill that exists today.  That's when I... "the Gridiron" will (be able to) "arrive"!

I couldn't agree more with StegRock on ALL points he made within the FF world. Its all about the money baby and their not shy about wanting to suck out your wallet.
In fact, one web site sent an email to someone who had been posting on their forums for a year and the message was = if you don't pay then, you can no longer post on this site.
I never liked what KFFL had to offer anyhow.
I would much rather give my money to someone like StegRock who doesn't even ask for one penny, is one  very friendly/creative person to be able to correspond with (and believe me you want this guy on your side - he is awesome!), eager to provide the best quality of forum based purely on his good-hearted nature and NOT necessarily money driven, and provides the best forum their is within the FF community that I have been able to experience thus far along with a great group of FF'ers.
One note to mention to back up my comments. I posted a meaasge at one of the FF sites asking which of the league managers web sites anyone would reccomend and of course I got a response naming all three of the league manager that advertised with them.
I can't make heads or tails out of what is actually the best because its REALLY the best or what is just being put out there because of the monetary support they provide.
Great post Steg!

I just read this thread.  I can't believe the writer wrote that and KFFL posted it on their site

I only hope it was posted quickly after the injury before everyone knew how severe it was.

No, it wasn't, Primer!  I received the "E-wire" from KFFL on Tuesday, the 26th, the day just before I started this thread.

Lest we forget these asinine comments (quoted in the initial post of this thread) as Chad makes an earlier-than-expected comeback!
