GRIDIRON GUARANTEE - Week 5
« on: Oct 2nd, 2003, 4:32pm »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

Gridiron Guarantee is a new weekly feature where you get to show off your football knowledge and make a bold prediction concerning any game or player for the coming weekend.

The prediction can be game-related, fantasy-specific, or personal.

Make a bold prediction. Don't just say "The Buccaneers will have at least one sack." That's too easy. Predict something that will have everyone in awe when it actually happens. For example, "Brian Griese will trip over his pet dog and land on the IR." Then come back here on Monday or Tuesday and give us all the "I told you so"s.

BOLD PREDICTION--  Stacey Mack will not fumble, Vinny Testaverde will not throw an interception, and Kurt Warner will go to church this weekend with his whining wife.

Seriously--  my prediction......

The Philadelphia Eagles will force at least 4 turnovers(turning one into a TD)  this weekend in a win against the Redskins.

In a must win situation, Garcia and Owens will connect for 3 TD's and over 200 yards this week against Detroit.

Kordell Stewart gets yanked for ineffectiveness in the Oakland game and Chris Chandler leads the Bears to a TD in relief.

The New York Giants hold Ricky Williams to under 100 yards, and Jay Fieldler to under 200, breaking their three game streak of 300 yard passers enroute to a 24-10 victory. ha...

What kind of prediction is that?  Of course one no win team will win the Niners and Lions are playing and I think someone has to win.

As a Dolphins fan the Jets are always losers whether they play are not.  Jets= Losers

Sorry had to run with what Steg started.

Oops note to self thats right the 49ers already won this year against the Bears I was thinking that wa slast year it seems so long ago that they played well.

Sorry in case you can't tell.  A little background about me.  I can not stand the local teams (i.e 49ers, Raiders, and as you can tell from other posts the SF Giants).
Just ask Jim (Barnabywilde) the fans and talk shows are ridiculous.

So to me it is more fun to argue or debate sports with them because most fans around hear only know the local team.

Note.........I have always been like this.  I am very faithful and loyal to my teams (Dolphins and Dodgers)
