GRIDIRON GUARANTEE - Week 8
« on: Oct 23rd, 2003, 9:42am »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

Gridiron Guarantee is a new weekly feature where you get to show off your football knowledge and make a BOLD prediction concerning any game or player for the coming weekend.

The prediction can be game-related, fantasy-specific, or personal.

Make a BOLD prediction. Don't just say "The Buccaneers will have at least one sack." That's too easy. Predict something that will have everyone in awe when it actually happens. For example, "Brian Griese will trip over his pet dog and land on the IR." Then come back here on Monday or Tuesday and give us all the "I told you so"s.

Setting: Phoenix, Arizona
Time: 8:09pm EST

After T.O. scores his 3rd TD of the game, he will remove his helmet.  Then replaces it with a sombrero(just happens to have 1 in his pants) & starts serving Tostitos to the crowd.   FIESTA BOWL BABY!

Now that's BOLD!

While mine will pale by comparison, I say Bledsoe picks apart KC secondary and the Bills hand KC their first loss 30-24!

p.s.  The fact that would make the Vikes the last undefeated team never occurred to me

I thought the same thing, man, when I saw that post.  But, with your wording there, you unwittingly potentially muddled the issue a little, though. The predictions here are "for Week 8" not "made in Week 8".  Anyway, RIF... and PINF (Posting Is Not Fundamental)!

Got the Hookies right....hehe

R. Williams sucks oops not supposed to say that as a Dolphin fan (bitter FF owner)  95 combined yards no tds

Portis 25 touches Kanell 31 passes ...close

If they would have conceded and run out the clock I could have had this one.
