GRIDIRON GUARANTEE - Week 10
« on: Nov 7th, 2003, 1:06am »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

Gridiron Guarantee is a weekly feature where you get to show off your football knowledge and make a BOLD prediction concerning any game or player for the coming weekend.

The prediction can be game-related, fantasy-specific, or personal.

Make a BOLD prediction. Don't just say "Tiki Barber will fumble." That's too easy. Predict something that will have everyone in awe when it actually happens. For example, "Corey Dillon will whine to the media and then miss a game because he crashed his car on the way to the stadium." Then come back here on Monday or Tuesday and give us all the "I told you so"s.

Jeff Blake will throw for 250 yards and 3 TD's against a horrible Pittsburgh Defense

AND

Kelly Holcomb will be sitting on the bench by the end of the third quarter against that TOUGH KC Defense.

Look for the Giants to have a letdown after getting up for 2 big games.  They drop one to Atlanta, and Reeves gets his 200th.

Sleeper of the week prediction:

Curtis Conway, WR Jets

7 receptions. 108 yards, 1 touchdown

By far the best opportunity for Curtis to earn a paycheck
is this week IMO. Chrebet is out, Moss will get special attention all day, and a complete game by Chad will
finally bring Curtis back into the fold. Plus the fact that he knows the Raiders as well as any receiver in the league.  Curtis may have lost a step, but he has enough talent to have a very productive day.

Something got messed up there... it was supposed to say Dez White has 16 yards receiving and 2 catches this weekend.

This did seem to be one of the "worsest" weeks for this thread.
