2004 NFL Draft Resources

With the '04 NFL Draft now very quickly approaching, I thought I'd provide you guys with the following draft resources from "the Gridiron Newsstand - Big Media/General Sports News Sources".  I didn't append these to the "2004 NFL Mock Draft Links" thread because these are not (just) mock drafts.  These at least incorporate other extensive resources, information and write-ups and in most of the cases just provide general rankings and presentations:

http://www.nflplayers.com/news/news_draft.asp;

http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/The+Way+We+Hear+It/default.htm;

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/2004draft/top100.htm;

http://www.fanstop.com/fanclub/nflfans/;

http://football.about.com/;

http://www.sportsnetwork.com/default.asp?c=sportsnetwork&page=nfl/mi sc/nfl-weekly.htm;

http://www.fanball.com/index.cfm/SCT.3;

Enjoy what the Rock is cookin'!

Thought that this from "the Gridiron Newsstand" was worth posting about and was quite ironic given our putting in our "2 cents" here starting tomorrow:

Funny, huh?

From "The REAL Feed", the "essentials"...

Facts about the 2004 NFL Draft
NFL.com (14.04.2004 17:53)
Important information all fans should know about the upcoming draft from Madison Square Garden in new York City.

Anybody want to go with me (and plug "the Gridiron" )?

I'd definitely be interested in going, but I've heard (don't remember where) that you need to get there very early as the line forms early and there are limited tickets.

Here's an NFL.com article tying the NFL draft to fantasy football...

Nothing earth-shattering there, but interesting nonetheless.

All kinds of Draft goodies on "The REAL Feed" today:

Fitzgerald Looks Like Arizona Draft Pick
AP Sports (22.04.2004 03:01)
Unless they have put up one of the thickest smoke screens in NFL draft history, the Arizona Cardinals want Larry Fitzgerald with the third overall pick Saturday.

How to trade down?
Miami Herald: Sports (22.04.2004 02:53)
DOLPHINS NOTEBOOK As NFL teams prepare to show their cards in the draft, the league's oversized poker game, the Dolphins appear to be among many teams wanting to deal down in the first round.

NFL draft '04: Scouting the linebackers
StarTribune: Sports (22.04.2004 00:06)
The Vikings' hole at weakside linebacker might be plugged with a University of Miami Hurricane during the first round of the NFL draft on Saturday.

What happened to Vikings draft?
StarTribune: Sports (21.04.2004 21:21)
The Vikings' well-chronicled trials and tribulations during the past two drafts have cast a new light on the previously mysterious inner workings of the NFL draft. In high school, you learned how a bill becomes a law. In today's Star Tribune, you'll learn how a college player becomes an NFL rooki...

Panthers look to rebuild in NFL draft
Seattle Post-Intelligencer: Sports (21.04.2004 10:56)

ENJOY, boyz!

More yummies from "The REAL Feed":

In NFL draft, 51 not a lucky number
SunSpot.net - Sports (23.04.2004 09:22)
Slot where Ravens pick historically has yielded busts, underachievers

NFL Draft: Whatever the Raiders do, it will be interesting
The Sacramento Bee: Sports (23.04.2004 08:35)
One theory on the origin of the Raiders mascot's eye patch: He was blinded trying to read the cryptic signs of what his team might do Saturday in the NFL draft.

NFL Draft: Thin 49ers could use help just about everywhere
The Sacramento Bee: Sports (23.04.2004 08:34)
SANTA CLARA - First, the bad news.
