This sounds like a great league.  I really like the set-up.  However I overextended myself a bit last season with leagues, so I can't add another one.

I'm sure someone out there is looking for a good thing for the long-term.  Plus we always seem to have more people show up closer to the summer when minds are beginning to go full-bore on fantasy again.

If not then, I'm not to worried. This league will proceed until we find the right guys. It was a blast last year w/ only 6 owners and extremely competitive (5 owners were playing in the last regular season game to see which 2 would make the playoffs - one other guy was way ahead of the rest).

...we'll hang out until a creative and dedicated owner happens along that wants to try something new and evolutionary.

MAN, am I understanding more and more why you dig this joint so much, KKS!  It's SO evident how you can so easily "get" what I am trying to do here:  the whole "addition by subtraction", "not worrying about catering to every Tom, Dick and Harry", "doing it the right way and the confidence in doing so" and "the virtue of patience"  philosophies, the "spirit of innovation and creativity", the creed of "being a finisher" and "seeing it through" rather than leaving a job half-rump, the emphasis on "substance over fluff and BS", the appreciation for "maintaining organization" and "saying a lot, but speaking little", i.e. not rushing to post something not thought through, and I'm just ...  There is definitely a kindredness here. ...

ANYWAY, back to the task at hand of recruiting the "right" guy! Good luck!

There was an original post for my league on this thread that I mistakenly deleted. The post was to advertise for one new member and after I filled my quota so to speak, I deleted it because I thought it was taking up space on the forum.
Anyhow, now it makes this post look incomplete. To supplement what is already written : We are a dynasty league that plays 21 starters, 11 of them being IDPs, We are evolutionary in that we play all the NFL regular season games and then, the top half of the league goes to the championship for a  4 team championship run through the NFL post season.
The focus of this league is on coaching, scouting & player preformance. Its a free keeper system in which you may retain any player for any amount of time though, you may only own 60% of your roster come cut down time.
We are always looking for enthusiastic owners who wouldn't mind trying something a bit different.
