GRIDIRON GUARANTEE - Week Two
« on: Sep 15th, 2004, 4:29pm »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

Gridiron Guarantee is a weekly feature where you get to show off your football knowledge and make a bold prediction concerning any game or player for the coming weekend.

The prediction can be game-related, fantasy-specific, or personal.

Make a bold prediction. Don't just say "Kyle Boller will stink up the joint this weekend." That's too easy. Predict something that will have everyone in awe when it actually happens. For example, "Centrum Silver will start an ad campaign featuring Vinny Testaverde and Curtis Martin, the leading passer and rusher in the NFL after week one." Then come back here on Monday or Tuesday and give us all the "I told you so"s. If you're wrong, who will ever remember?

Michael Vick, showing what a prolific passer he really is, will have more rushing yards against the Rams than passing yards.

Portis Will Continue to show he was worth bailey and griffin will show that the broncos couldn't afford losing Portis...

Clinton will run for 200 yards and 3 Tds...as the Redskins stomp out the giants and gain a division lead for a day....

Quentin Griffin will run for 45 yards with no scores...

Philly and Minnesota will not have a recieving TD by recievers......All Tds will be made by Running backsand tight ends...

Picky, picky...  Details, details...

If you look back at my bold prediction for Week 1, you will clearly see why I made this mistake (and put to use the according smilies).
