"between the 20's Fantasy MVP's of the Week" Wk 9

Here is another one of our fun participatory threads here "between the 20's".  It is called "between the 20's Fantasy MVP's of the Week".  Here, you are to list your key player(s) for the week, the one or ones that were key to your victory(ies).  I really think we can have some fun with this! You can expect this to be up every Monday or Tuesday from here on out!  HAVE FUN, fellas!!!
 
There will now be a complementary weekly thread to this one for the opposite circumstance:  "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin'"!!!  Make sure to check it out!!!

This Thing of Ours (Money League):
Big win this week over my fiercest rival (and best friend).  Antonio Gates secured the close win for me.
 
GBRFL2:
Shaun Alexander carried the load for me.
 
GotG:
Rookie Bob Sanders had a nice game on defense, but the winner was another rookie, Jon Vilma who had 15 tackles.
 
CBFL:
Antonio Gates, again, with a nice assist by Corey Dillon.

For my 1-1 week in the GBRFL Week 9, I'll divy out two game balls to my team's namesakes...
 
The Two Jakes...  QB's Jake Plummer and Jake Delhomme
 
The one win I did get was sweet, over the current top dog.  Winning the QB categories was the key to that victory and it was no small task as my two boys were going up against Manning and Brady. ... ...
