Here is another one of our fun participatory threads here "between the 20's".  It is called "between the 20's Fantasy MVP's of the Week".  Here, you are to list your key player(s) for the week, the one or ones that were key to your victory(ies).  I really think we can have some fun with this! You can expect this to be up every Monday or Tuesday from here on out!  HAVE FUN, fellas!!!

There is also a complementary weekly thread to this one for the opposite circumstance:  "between the 20's Weekly Bitchin'"!!!  Make sure to check it out!!!

In the Giants of the Gridiron (a homegrown league here), I improved to 4-1 with a NARROW victory over another team that entered the game with only one loss.  (I won by less than a point).

On offense, Tatum Bell saved the day for me when I had a couple key players (Randy Moss and Plaxico Burress) on byes.

On defense, Jon Vilma carried me once again - he's been a tackling machine!  (Kudos also to Robert Mathis of the Colts who had a monster game.)

Not what I'd call monster games..but Antonio Bryant and Eric Moulds came up big for me this week. I had Burress, DJax,  Horn, and Engram all out. Had to pick up 2 WR's to start with Jimmy Smith so they got the nod. They kept me a perfect 5-0
on the year!!

It was a week in which I went 0-2 in the GBRFL, BUT don't have too many complaints.  I was really pleased with my picking up and starting (in one of my two games) of RB Jarrett Payton.  He poked in a teeder for me. There's some justice there as I've been a big believer in him... against a lot of critics here on "the Gridiron".  Also, a BIG thumbs up to another free-agent pick from a couple weeks back, Terry Glenn. I think he's in store for a solid year all year long with Bledsoe at the helm.  Curtis Martin punched in two touchdowns and Warrick Dunn put up solid yardage yet again.  It all just wasn't enough... But, let's divvy out out some games balls, nevertheless:  one each for Payton and Glenn and one for Martin and Dunn to share.

Now, as for JYJ's Xtreme league, where "the Gridiron @FantasyFootballer.com" remains the ONLY UNdefeated team left...  Game balls to:  Ben Roethlisberger, Edgerrin James, Fred Taylor, and Josh Brown. GREAT job, fellas!!!
