Yet another 0-3 week... Nevertheless, I'll give some thumbs up to, in the GBRFL, QB's Jake Plummer, for playing some solid ball, and Jeff Garcia, a huge pickup for me from two weeks ago that could pan out big-time, RB Warrick Dunn, for getting it "Dunn" yet again, WR Mike Williams, for starting to show that he will be the real deal, and PK Jason Elam, for lighting it up again this past week, and, in JYJ's "experts" league, RB Edgerrin James and WR Mike Williams again. Let's get these ships turned around in Week Eight, fellas,... at least in the JYJ league.

The Buffalo Defense almost screwed me as I went against Lamont Jordan last week. Thankfully, I had several solid preformances that staved off defeat. Steven Jackson is the man. I am very happy that I protected him this year. Not so much for this season as for next year. With Martz apparently out of the picture for 2006, things are looking up for one of the most talented guys in the league. Of course I cannot forget my 6th round draft pick, Thomas Jones. He has been one of the few bright spots in my 2-5 season. Jones has not been in the endzone too much, but he sure can churn out the yards. Apparently he has been living in the training room during the week to keep his sprained knee relatively healthy. He sure does not look injured at this point. I started the year 0-5 but I am still fighting for a wildcard spot. Four or five wins in a row would put me back in the hunt. There are a ton of .500 teams in my league right now. Hopefully Jones and Jackson can lead my effort to get back in the playoff hunt.
