Bryant Johnson, You my friend, are what give waiver wire wonders the true meaning. Thanks for stepping up this week and making up for my lack of points from my studs (or should I say duds) Shockey, You never dissapoint. I just might make you my keeper, just because I like you so much (not really) but, you keep this pace up through the season, and I might do it for really

I squeaked out a 229-225 win in the QFL to go to 9-0. On Offense, my team was led by QB Eli Manning's 25 points, and Steve Smiths chipped in with 25 as well. Warrick Dunn had 22. On Defense, my team was led by LB Mike Peterson, with 43. I would have had more breathing room if I did not sit Mike Rucker, who had 33, but thankfully, I did not need his production, although the way Deion Branch was playing (my opponent had him going tonight) I was sweating bullets!!

It's hard to pull any positives out of an 0-2 week in Steggieland. The only positive for me last week in JYJ's league was the Giants D/ST. In the GBRFL, I do want to send out some kudos to guys who continue to show some life, RB Cedric Benson and WR Ashley Lelie and a guy who's finally getting the chance he deserves, QB Brooks Bollinger. Actually, my running game started to show some last week with Benson, Warrick Dunn and Curtis Martin, and as we all know it is from the running back position that most good fantasy teams are built. So, I think the decline of the Stegger in the GBRFL may be coming to an end and the turn-around may be, alas, underway...
