Drafted last night, how did I do?

gotta say, I really like this team.   we get 1 keeper who must've been a 5th or later pick the year b/4.   I had LJ, which was an enormous start.

standard scoring with 1pt/rec
start 1QB, 2WR, 2RB, 1WR/RB, 1WR/TE, TE, K, DEF

Pick |Player|Analysis
1.09 | Clinton Portis |No idea why he fell here, but obviously a boon.
2.02 | Steve Smith |First WR taken, but with 19 picks to my next one, thought I'd grab the best WR
3.09 | Roy Williams |Guy drafting behind me had to go WR, so I did too, knowing I'd have my choice coming back.
4.02 | Chester Taylor |Somewhat of a homer pick, but a very nice #3 back none the less, esp. with ppr.
5.09 | Jake Delhomme |Brady, Palmer, Bledsoe, Big Ben & Palmer were keepers, so getting Jake here was pretty good I think.
6.02 | Reggie Bush|Post 4th round can be keepers, so this was a value pick, as well as a potential keeper for next year.
7.09 | Larry Johnson |Keeper round.
8.02 | Terry Glenn|If TO cuts into his recs, he's still a good 3rd WR.
9.09 | Jerry Porter|Probably a reach.
10.02 | Jacksonville|5 Ds went in the 9th, 7 overall before this pick.
11.09 | Fred Taylor|BPA (IMO), if healthy, great bye week filler.
12.02 | Drew Bennett|OK pick, nothing sexy.
13.09 | Kurt Warner|Excited he was here, but OOPS!  Same bye as Jake.
14.02 | Jeff Wilkins|Rackers went in the 6th!!!    Decent K in late round.
15.09 | Dallas Clark|Weak spot, Clark is really streaky and I probably won't get much here.
16.02 | Minnesota|Most know I have high expectations for this unit this year.
17.09 | Brandon Jacobs|Probably not much value unless a Tiki injury.

Roster
QB:Delhomme, Warner
RB:LJ, Portis, Chester Taylor, Fred Taylor, Reggie Bush, Brandon Jacobs
WR:Steve Smith, Roy Williams, Glenn, Porter, Drew Bennett
TE:Dallas Clark
K:Wilkins
D:Jax, Minny

Overall, I really like the team.   WR is strong but not much depth.

Thoughts?

GREAT TEAM!!!  I'm guessing 8- or 10-team league, though.  If this is a 12- or 14-team league, then your squad is OFF-THE-HIZZLE RIDICULOUS!!!  You've represented FantasyFootballer.com well, my friend!

Looks like a real solid team. Getting Larry Johnson in the 7th round is always a nice thing. This team looks like a real contender, although I haven't seen the other teams. Maybe next year you can draft this good in the GBRFL2.

Also, cp, a little trick with putting tables in the threads -- and I don't know why it works this way -- but if you hit delete after the "/tr" in the post to remove any hidden "returns" (so the /tr and the tr are right next to each other, without any spaces between), then it will remove all of that empty space before the table.

Looks like a nice, nice team to me, cp.  That's a ridiculous RB corps, when you're going to be sitting Bush and Chester Taylor.

Hope this is ok, I thought I'd post my drafted team to see what all you guys thought.  I could've made a new thread, but I figured I'd be told to add it to this already existing one.  If I'm stepping on your toes, cp, I apologize and will start a new thread.

My drafted team was an automatic draft, using pre-draft player rankings, so pretty much a crapshoot.  It's a 10 team league, and we start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF.  Here's what I got:

QB: Bulger (in the 7th round), Bledsoe
RB: Portis, Rudi Johnson (10th and 11th overall, respectively), Kevin Jones (Jones in the 10th round!)
WR: Hines Ward, Roy Williams, Donald Driver, Kevin Curtis, Brandon Lloyd
TE: Antonio Gates, Chris Cooley
K: David Akers, Josh Brown
DEF: New York Giants

In the past years when I've had teams drafted automatically (I couldn't make the draft), I've gotten pretty much crap, so I was highly impressed with this one, despite the lack of big firepower at receiver.

  no problem!

As for your team, I think you came out great.   2 very strong RBs, 2 nice QBs.  Your first 2 WRs are good too, but then it gets iffy.  Will Favre have enough time to throw to Driver?   Will Lloyd blossom in WAS?  Will Bruce stay healthy and keep Curtis out of the starting lineup?

You may want to watch the WW there, but all in all a decent team.
