This thread is for general discussion and commentary on the (13th) annual GBRFL restocking Draft set to kick off TOMORROW, Sunday, September 3rd at 2:30 p.m. (EST). EVERYBODY is welcome!!! Whether you are in the league or not, feel free to post your thoughts on this thread. Given our lack of centralization this year, marked by the old Stegger's here being in Hawaii, I expect our on-line "show" to be better than ever,... the real deal. I hope some of yous can carve away a little out of your Sunday afternoon to drop on by and check it out. The thread where we will be making our picks is: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=53;a ction=display;num=1157201163.

Guys, I can't donate too much effort to this. I'm just going to give a very brief team-by-team, player-by-player "rough" SMILEY "analysis". This is not going to be all too scientific. I'm not even going to check for exactly where each guy was taken. I'm just going off memory and feeling... And, remember "it's all relative"... Joe Parsons RB Jerious Norwood RB Brian Calhoun (= so-so) RB Verron Haynes RC Ernest Wilford RC Greg Jennings (= no feeling, no comment) RC Jeremy Shockey (= yucky) PK Jay Feely DU Seattle Seahawks Rob Pak QB Matt Leinart QB Kerry Collins QB Kyle Boller RB Laurence Maroney RB Jerome Harrison RC Michael Clayton RC David Givens RC Travis Taylor DU Washington Redskins Danny Feder QB Tony Romo RB Wali Lundy RB Maurice Drew RB Ryan Moats RB Michael Turner RC Keenan McCardell PK Neil Rackers DU New York Giants DU New England Patriots Steve Warner RB Reggie Bush RB Mike Bell RC Laveranues Coles RC Reggie Brown RC Marty Booker PK John Kasay DU Dallas Cowboys Frank Gonzalez RB Mike Anderson RB Derrick Blaylock RB J.J. Arrington RC Roddy White RC Eric Parker RC Samie Parker RC Reche Caldwell PK Adam Vinatieri PK Lawrence Tynes DU Tampa Bay Buccaneers Dave Trout QB Charlie Whitehurst RB LenDale White RB Maurice Hicks RB Musa Smith RB Ciatrick Fason RB Noah Herron RB Tyson Thompson RB Leon Washington RC Cedrick Wilson RC Doug Gabriel DU Baltimore Ravens Mark Hahn QB Jay Cutler RB Joseph Addai RB Mewelde Moore RB Maurice Morris RC Troy Williamson RC Chad Jackson RC Keyshawn Johnson PK Shayne Graham DU Philadelphia Eagles Dave Bohrer QB Tarvaris Jackson QB Patrick Ramsey QB Kellen Clemens RB DeAngelo Williams RB Travis Henry RB Stephen Davis RC Santonio Holmes RC Eric Moulds PK David Akers Travis Cooper QB Vince Young RB LaBrandon Toefield RC Kevin Curtis RC Drew Bennett RC Todd Heap RC Jerry Porter RC Amani Toomer PK Jason Elam DU Jacksonville Jaguars Now,... I'll do my own... But, I, of course, did make my own picks, so..., of course,... I'm going to "like" them... "overall",... but I don't "love" any of them... Steve Stegeman RB Cedric Cobbs RB Correll Buckhalter RB Michael Bennett RC Eddie Kennison RC Muhsin Muhammad RC Deion Branch PK Sebastian Janikowski DU Denver Broncos DU Atlanta Falcons

Ok, Steg, it's time for my defense (not quite doctoral, but nevertheless a defense). Vince Young -- needed to pick him up because I have Billy Volek, who may in fact not be the starter for much of this season. Kerry Collins is over the hill, and Vince is the future for that team. Kevin Curtis -- a solid #3 receiver, very nice production last year, is probably in the gradual process of taking over Bruce's production entirely Amani Toomer -- well, he was my last pick in the draft, and he did do somewhat decently last year, and I only expect younger Manning to do better this year LaBrandon Toefield -- risky pick, admittedly; but not too bad if you consider Fred Taylor gets injured more often than Koren Robinson gets into trouble Todd Heap -- love this pick, primarily because you all hated it; I'm guaranteeing 800 yards and 8 touchdowns for this guy, which may well make him a legitimate 3rd receiver for me to start; this is based not only on his history (he's year-in and year-out consistent) but on the upswing he gets from having a real quarterback for the first time in years
