GRIDIRON GUARANTEE - Week One
« on: Sep 5th, 2006, 3:52pm »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

Gridiron Guarantee is a weekly feature where you get to show off your football knowledge and make a bold prediction concerning any game or player for the coming weekend.

The prediction can be game-related, fantasy-specific, or personal.

Make a bold prediction. Don't just say "Peyton Manning will outperform his little brother." That's too easy. Predict something that will have everyone in awe when it actually happens. For example, "Koren Robinson is signed by the Bengals just hours after he releases a self-help book." Then come back here on Monday or Tuesday and give us all the "I told you so"s. If you're wrong, who will ever remember?

Deuce McAllister will go down in Week One with a torn ACL, even though I don't own him!

My "1st Fantasy WR taken" curse will continue, and Steve Smith will go down with a season ending injury.  (2 years ago: Steve Smith, last year: Javon Walker)

Barring that, and on a more serious note:

Eli outduels his bro Peyton by 2 TDs and sends him home with the big L

Hey Steg... if you're going to post that THREE times, then I'm expecting 27 TDs from the Mannings this week!

I DIGRESS...
The site was whacky (sluggish to post) during the wee-hours (for you guys).  That's what happened there (I was pressing "Post" multiple times). Dashing around here and there,... I didn't even notice it.
