Boy, were things unexpectedly ugly last week in JYJ's league... YIKES!!! Peyton Manning... TERRIBLE!!! Hines Ward... Tony Gonzalez... when are yous going to show up, fellas!!! Friggin' lame... As for the GBRFL, things were also ugly, but expectedly so as I rebuild and was up against a rough week bye-week-wise. Exemplifying my sad squad, though, were my FLAT starting recievers Muhsin Muhammad, Eddie Kennison and Joe Horn. And, hey, Donte Stallworth,... you plan on crappin' out on us again this year. Different uni, but same old gimpy story.

| By all means, though, feel free to start up a weekly (or whatever) "pregame" bitchin' thread right here "between the 20's"...

| (Unecessary, but VERY kindhearted) Apology accepted. Do let me contextualize, though... The theme... "Getting to knooooow you... Getting to know alllll about you... Getting to liiiiike you... Getting to hope youuu like me... Getting to knooow youuu... Putting it my wayyy, but niiicelyyy..." Lisa, Froggy,... absolutely no worries... One thing you will... should learn, if you hang here long enough, which I hope, is that I don't hold grudges (unless they are held against me, a right I reserve). Anyway, the "other" thing you will come to learn about me is that I am VERY hyper-sensitive to message-board forum etiquette because of all the poor etiquette out there. I want to engender good habits here,... especially from the get-go even though the "slight" may be minute. In fact, your initial post I saw and took as a joke. But, your second one wasn't as clearly jokey... to me. Going back to the issue of etiquette, what I always want to communicate, especially to newbies, is that in this whacky cyber environment we sometimes lose sight of what we would normally do when entering a new group/venue in "real" life. If we went to a party comprised of people we didn't yet know but were going to through work or whatever, we would be reserved about what we said and how we acted so as not to send the wrong message to our new group of friends and maintain a somewhat neutral disposition, and we would probably be especially sensitive toward the host. Even if there were a hundred and one great jokes to make/tell about the host's curtains, you'd probably want to hold off at that first party... until you knew the people better and they came to know you and who you are. In a "normal" social situation, i.e. not a somewhat "cooked-up" one like we have on the internet, people usually "ease" their way in with people, again, so as to avoid cutting off their noses to spite their faces coming right out of the gate, and when we do, the clean-up can sometimes take years,... and, in these cyber environs, sometimes never. So, I harp on this stuff every chance I get, no matter how small (and, mind you, I know here that it is small, Lisa). It's a lesson cyber junkies can never get enough of as I see it. When I read your first "quippy", (obviously) witty post, I was willing to roll with it. But, when I read the second, Lisa, the first posts I am/recalled reading by you, mind you, I just didn't know how to take it. We have no established rapport, no less relationship. I wasn't overly offended, but I thought a(n unfair) liberty was taken by someone I don't know... have yet to be introduced,... and, mind you, I'm a little weather-worn. But, bottom line, for me this is philosophical (quite literally as Cheryl can fill you in on or which you will come to see as we do the "get to know one another" dance; philosophy is a professional concern of mine), NOT personal. I apply the same across the board, including to myself (with it in mind that there is a fundamental and important distinction between StegRock the member and StegRock the site admin) and those I am close with or personal friends with, especially, and most importantly, those I know well (the one I know the best being me). I don't play favorites... in this way. So, again,... I look forward to getting to know you over the time you are able to spend here.

Again, I apologize...I would like to explain that my comments were not directed to you, the host, but to Callie, my "bitchin' buddy," woman to woman and/or nemesis to nemesis, competitor to competitor, etc. We play in 2 fantasy leagues together....We know each other in cyberspace and "get" each other's stupid jokes, I guess. The "humor" is in the "irony" of bitchin' about not having enough pre-bitchin' time...i.e. bitchin' before the fact of my team collapse. In other words, I was making fun of myself for being an impatient bitch. Let me illustrate: <-----me & Callie, Callie and I In the future, I will remember to be more careful though, or more sensitive, so that my messages are not taken literally by others who don't know me (yet). Other than that, I have no idea what you said. Oh wait...One more thing...I was going to introduce myself, but found out that you were in the middle of an earthquake, possibly in danger, and probably wouldn't be around. Let me introduce myself and hopefully we can just start all over. Hi, I'm La an I hve a ftbll in my mowf. P.S. Love your website/info and smiley selection.
